Paul has worked in the environmental management area for over 20 years and firmly believes that delivering positive outcomes requires enduring working relationships founded on respect, trust and empathy. Specialising in all things air quality related, whether it’s smells, dust, smoke, fumes or fresh air, Paul has lived and breathed it at some point. In recent years, he has focused more on environmental policy and planning, underpinned by a passion for equitable climate change response and sustainability. When he is not supporting clients or team mates, you’ll find him on a mountain, on a bike or on a scuba tank, or possibly on a couch binge watching the latest must see.

Paul joined Kāhu Environmental in 2022 after over 10 years as an independent consultant. He holds a Masters of Science in Chemistry and Environmental Science from the University of Auckland and a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Management and Sustainability from Massey University.
