Anita Copplestone
Anita’s work style is grounded on hard work and good communication, which leads to strong working relationships. She’s got this natural big-picture lens and a knack for ensuring everyone (from technical support staff to senior team leads) knows what’s going on and what’s coming up. If she’s not replying to emails, it’s because she’s deep in the bush somewhere, engaged in another team-based challenge – adventure racing.
Anita has been a planner for twenty years and loves new challenges. She has an Honours degree in Resource and Environmental Planning from Massey University and a Post-graduate Diploma in Business Studies. She’s also completed the RMA Making Good Decisions Course and holds a Project Management Qualification from the Association for Project Management (UK). Anita has worked for local and regional government in New Zealand and the UK, and for large multi-disciplinary design and engineering firms in the UK. Her areas of expertise include:
Infrastructure consenting/Notices of Requirement
Spatial planning
Policy analysis, review and development
Project management for resource consents and plan changes
